Free the Bears is in Australian not-for-profit wildlife conservation charity operating rescued bear (and other wildlife) sanctuaries across Asia, as well as initiating programs to educate about wildlife conservation, strengthen wildlife laws and enforcement, and change consumer attitudes. Our orphaned baby bear macaque Helen needed a monkey mum. The only option available was a young female pig-tailed macaque (species that would not normally interact). What happened next was magical. Love is blind.

You won't believe how Conker the little male Moon bear cub has taken to getting down from his new toy!
With 10 cubs now squeezed into our sanctuary in Laos we're having to build upwards until we can purchase the land to expand outwards. This is leading to some hilarious moments on the cubs climbing platforms, watch to the end of the video to see how Conker brings himself back down to earth...
